I am currently sitting in my house, on a work day, in my pjs, drinking tea and eating grilled cheese sandwiches while watching Billy Elliot. Life does not get better than this. I have the typhoon to thank for my current relaxed state, as my boss decided the typhoon made it too dangerous for us all to come in to work today. Day off for everyone in the office! I'm loving it even more because the rain was over by noon and now it's cool and sunny outside. ehehehe.
To be fair, I got more than 15 warnings on my cellphone this morning that several train lines were delayed or stopped completely due to the strong winds and heavy rain. I guess I would have had trouble getting out to my job in Saitama even if the boss had decided to make us come. *shrugs* I guess that is a moot point now, though.
This almost makes up for having to work the long weekend of Silver Week last month. What makes it even better is that not only do I get Monday off due to the national holiday, but my workplace has an additional day off on the Tuesday. Since I have it off, I decided Mochi should have something off too. Yes, this coming Tuesday Mochi will have the official "snip snip." The appointment with the vet was set up yesterday. Pray...for...Mochi.
