I came to Japan in 2005 and decided to stay. I am an English teacher at a private school, but eventually I'd like to move into translation.

I like to travel around Japan and take photographs when I have the time (which is almost never) or try new kinds of sake or food.

LOVE to cook and secretly want to be the next Jamie Oliver on the food network.

I study shamisen and traditional Noh theatre dance. Sound impressive until you actually see me dance or play.

In 2009 I will be starting a small fashion label called Poetry and Lyrics. Most designs will be bags, hats and accessories made from real kimono silk. When I get around to it I will start posting my designs here. Please look forward to it!
